 Primeton Technologies, Ltd. is a leading provider of component-oriented middleware. Its flagship product, Primeton EOS, helps customers to develop reliable, flexible and easily manageable enterprise applications and SOA services quickly and at low cost.
Primeton Technologies was founded in 2001 by software veterans from Silicon Valley. The founders set as their mission to meet the challenge of developing software for the rapidly changing business world. The challenge was particularly serious in China where changes happen several times faster than in developed countries. Requirements change outpace software development and implementation. Failure rate of enterprise software projects were very high.
Primeton combines novel technologies with the old idea of reusable components to create a revolutionary component-oriented middleware platform, Primeton EOS, complete with an integrated development environment, a runtime server, and an extensive library of basic components. Primeton EOS has transformed component-oriented approach from a program paradigm into real world business solutions.
Today there are over 1000 Primeton EOS applications in operation in Asia, Europe, Africa, South America, and China. Customers include most companies listed in the China Fortune 100.
The first customers turn to Primeton because they were desperate. They failed with all other means and they ran out of project time. Primeton EOS provides a means to rapidly develop reliable applications with engineers having limited experience. Primeton partner with independent software venders (ISVs) to provide end-to-end values for customers. For example, via the collaboration with Huawei Technologies, Primeton has helped countries in Europa, Asia, Africa, and South America to deploy many key applications in their telecom industries.
Primeton is one of the first middleware providers in China that obtained the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI4) certificate. This is the most important standard used by multinationals to judge whether a software vendor can timely provide software that matches international quality standards. Primeton is also one of the top 50 Chinese high-tech high-growth companies listed by Deloitte.
Primeton is a partner of OSOA, which is an SOA international standardization organization, and is a Classical Sponsor of OASIS, which is a major player in setting the standards for electronic commerce.
